When learning isn't easy, life isn't easy... |
It is estimated that 20% of the population struggle with learning. Some will be diagnosed with learning "disabilities," and many, many more go undiagnosed, mislabelled, or simply misunderstood - resulting in frustration, loss of self-esteem, and, ultimately, potential.
If you, your child, or your students have difficulties with reading, decoding, phonemic awareness, writing, spelling, math, or attention deficits, Dyslexia or ADD/ADHD could be the cause. At Richmond Hill Learning Solutions, we believe that every person can learn! The one-size-fits-all approach to teaching found in most school systems does not address the specific needs of nonverbal, visual-spatial learners and is in desperate need of an overhaul. The truth is that difficulties with reading, writing, spelling, math, and attention/focus can be corrected when clients are provided the right tools and techniques, in a way that fits their learning style! |
Stop the struggle! Richmond Hill Learning Solutions can help.

With or without a formal diagnosis, we help non-traditional learners to understand how they can, indeed, learn with ease and without frustration!

Our Philosophy |
Individuals with Dyslexia, ADD/ADHD and other related diagnoses are gifted non-verbal thinkers, and typically have higher than normal intellect. These great minds think in pictures, which makes reading, writing, spelling, and other academic/social tasks difficult. However, it also provides them with many abilities that may supersede the average person. We are doing the world a great disservice by pushing "in the box" curricula on these "out of the box" thinkers. It is time for change - in our understanding of these amazing individuals and how they CAN learn and achieve their full potential.
